Ball Boy Tells Keeper Which Way to Dive for Penalty Save

A 12-year-old ball boy told the Chinese goalkeeper which way to dive to make the save on a penalty shot and he was right. So now he's a rock star.

China and Saudi Arabia met in the Asia Cup over the weekend and China got a huge assist from a ball boy named Stephen White behind the net. China conceded a penalty shot to Naif Hazazi, and moments before the shot, the Chinese keeper Wang Dalei was seen chatting with him. White appears to indicate which way Hazazi would shoot and, wouldn't you know it, that's exactly where he went. Dalei made the save, preserving a clean sheet.

Everyone was pumped up about it, even the kid. Just look at him hop around when Dalei makes the save. After the game, which China won 1-0, Dalei gave him some dap for the advice.

White has since become something of a rock star among the Chinese press and was swamped by reporters the following day.
