Last night, Kevin Garnett proved that trulyanything is possible when he somehow managed to get a foul called on Ryan Anderson after Garnett nearly took his head off with a clothesline. The two got into it on the previous possession late in the first half between Minnesota and New Orleans, with Anderson tossing Garnett out of the way while battling for position. As Anderson made his way back up court in transition, Garnett stuck a sneaky hip out and barely clipped him. Then, when Garnett approached Anderson again, the Pelicans big man returned the favor, gently sliding into Garnett's path, and Garnett tried to avoid him pulled a swim move right into Anderson's face.The refs hit Anderson with the foul and New Orleans coach Alvin Gentry was none too pleased. Even after a replay review with Secaucus, the foul on Anderson was the only call. Garnett made onlyone of his two free throws, so Ball only Partially Lied in this case.[FSNO]
