Im extremely angry and disappointed. I had to lose my career and never opted to cheat no matter what.i had to throw in the towel and suffer
— Jennifer Capriati (@JenCapriati) March 7, 2016
i didn't have the high priced team of drs that found a way for me to cheat and get around the system and wait for science to catch up
— Jennifer Capriati (@JenCapriati) March 7, 2016
the responses are exactly what i am talking about. everything based on illusion and lie driven by the media for over 20 yrs. beyond unfair

something is wrong with the whole system. The intentions of the system was never morally grounded to begin with

Here Capriati appears to be referring to several controversies in her own life, including drug addiction, an ex-boyfriend who alleged she stalked and attacked him, and some help from line judges (as opposed to drugs).I just think it takes away from the sport and the hard work if true. Yes its hard to be kicked when down, when injured and out

Everyone reading what's written and assuming it's true is wrong. It's just wrong. all of it not true. Nothing of what u read is true
— Jennifer Capriati (@JenCapriati) March 7, 2016
It shouldn't matter on whether I have an opinion or not anyways whether it's true about me or not. Look at what's happening all around?

People being taken down for speaking the truth. People that have the power to take people down do and think they can. That's why I am vocal
— Jennifer Capriati (@JenCapriati) March 7, 2016
It's all not true. I was given the human right to be happy and live a life of happiness not my life being told as a lie and taken from me
— Jennifer Capriati (@JenCapriati) March 7, 2016
All the lies have robbed me of my life at some point enough is enough and a line must be drawn or you must fight back for pride and dignity

Back to Sharapova:Young people asking me if I'm relevant here and who I am?? I've been here my entire life. Since I could walk I have been part of it

This kind of thing always tends to happen when a notable athlete gets tagged for using performance-enhancing drugs. Older players who maybe got forced out before they were ready—either by their own bodies, or the teams they played for—often vent about "back in my day." And back in their day, they always did everything on the level and it really chaps their asses that the younger, more highly compensated versions of themselves take the shortcuts. This has happened forever—we just get to see it more now because everyone's on Twitter. What's the point of someone taking a heart medicine that helps your heart recover faster unless you have a heart condition? Is thataccurate?
