Tony Romo Interception Leads To 49ers Score And Vicious Hit On Dez Bryant

Romo interception leads to carnage for the Cowboys.

With the score still manageable in the first quarter, Tony Romo threw into triple coverage (when he had a man streaking downfield uncovered), and it was predictably intercepted. 49ers safety Eric Reid took it at midfield and returned it 48 yards to the Dallas two-yard line. On the same play, the intended receiver, Dez Bryant, took such a nasty hit it looked like he was bent in half. After all the excitement, the 49ers scored on the very next play with a play-action pass to Vernon Davis and took a 21-3 lead.

And here is Reid's return. Jason Witten makes an attempt to tackle him, but he was not able to wrangle him down to the ground.

And here's San Francisco's scoring play to Davis:

In the time it's taken me to write this up, Tony Romo has thrown approximately three thousand more interceptions…which is not good.
