VICE Sports World News Roundup: September 10

Start your day with VICE Sports. Here's our morning roundup of the sports news from around the world.

Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 10th of September, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA.

There's apparently been some kind of near mutiny in the Manchester United dressing room, where Van Gaal seems not to have made too many friends. Players, including Wayne Rooney, are reportedly angry about his training regime, his tactics and (presumably) his insane transfer policy. This according to both The Sun and The Times. Both stories are behind a paywall, but ESPN has a thorough run-down.

There's never a good time for lockerroom discord, but this is an especially bad time, as Manchester United plays Liverpool this Saturday. Copa90 put together a pretty cool little video about the origins of the Man U-Liverpool rivalry.

Bundesliga television ratings in the United States are still beyond terrible.

David Beckham has reportedly found a site for his MLS team's stadium in Miami.

After the weekend's tragedy in Spain, where 7 spectators were killed during a rally event in the country's northwest, the FIA convened an emergency meeting and have since laid out a plan for increasing safety at rally car races.

The English FA has a new rule against feigning injury. A striker for non-league team Welling was the first person penalized under the rule after pretending to get elbowed by an opponent.

Stan Wawrinka and Roger Federer, both from Switzerland, will meet in the semifinals of the US Open tomorrow. The winner will probably play Djokovic in the final (No disrespect to his Croatian semifinal opponent Marin Cilic). Today's big match features Serena Williams, who takes on unseeded Italian Roberta Vinci.
