Kobe Makes up for Breaking Valanciunas' Hand by Signing His Cast

Pretty sweet and original collector's item.

Kobe Bryant does in fact have a soft side.

The Lakers superstar, who played in his last game ever in Toronto on Monday, took some time to send his best wishes to injured Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas. After all, it's the least he could do after breaking his hand.

Bryant broke a bone in Valanciunas' left hand while attempting to block his shot during a November game in Los Angeles, and the big man hasn't played since.

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to play vs. Kobe today because @kobebryant :)) No hard feelings. pic.twitter.com/QycKxkhwAm

The collector's item appears to read "Sorry for the break my brother. Stay Strong!" It includes an autograph from the Black Mamba with his No. 24.

Bryant shot 50 percent from the field for the first time this season, dropping 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting in a 102-93 loss. The Raptors honoured his illustrious career with a tribute on the video board but neglected to include any footage of his 81-point performance against Toronto back in 2006. Sour grapes, much? Maybe, but the team made up for it by presenting him with a gift after the game.
