Kentucky's Andrew Harrison on Frank Kaminsky: "Fuck That Nigga"

Andrew Harrison did not want to "talk about" Frank Kaminsky after losing to Wisconsin last night and muttered some regrettable words under his breath that his microphone picked up.

After losing their semifinal game against Wisconsin 71-64, members of the Wildcats—including Karl-Anthony Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein, Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison, and coach John Calipari—were on the same dais for a post-game press conference when a USA Today reporter asked a question about Frank Kaminsky. The question was asked of Towns, but Andrew Harrison could be heard muttering "Fuck that nigga" as the question wrapped up.

On the one hand, something like this is bound to happen when you have young kids in a room full of reporters and cameras after an emotional loss and you want them to "talk about" the guy who not only just beat them for a chance to play in the National Championship, but also ruined one of the most hyped-up seasons in recent memory. On the other hand, Andrew! There's a microphone literally right in front of your face. Try to have some kind of filter; your hand in front of your mouth doesn't count.

Harrison later apologized on Twitter and said he and Kaminsky spoke and were all cool.

First i want to apologize for my poor choice of words used in jest towards a player I respect and know.

When I realized how this could be perceived I immediately called big frank to apologize and let him know I didn't mean any disrespect

We had a good conversation and I wished him good luck in the championship game Monday.
