DeAndre Hopkins Makes Ridiculous One-Handed Catch

It didn't count, but don't let that stop you from enjoying it.

This play was called back for an illegal formation penalty on Houston, but fuck all that noise, this catch is amazing. On first-and-ten from Houston's 18, Ryan Fitzpatrick went deep to DeAndre Hopkins, who made a spectacular play at the New York 33-yard line to catch it one-handed and control it as he was falling backwards. It's a damned shame that this won't actually count, but even technically non-existent plays need to be seen when they're this good.

It got worse for the Texans: three plays after the Hopkins catch was called back, Ryan Fitzpatrick tried to go deep again, this time to Andre Johnson, and he was intercepted by Antrel Rolle. He returned it to the Houston two-yard line and the Giants punched it in for an easy touchdown.
