Man City Win on Deflection after Brilliant Swansea Equalizer

Swansea deserved better.

Swansea City briefly leveled the score with Manchester City at 1-1 just before extra time with a Bafe Gomis goal set up by a gorgeous pass from Federico Fernández. From just inside the center line, Fernández laced a ball through the entire Man City side and Gomis was able to outpace his man to catch up to it just outside the goal area and blast it through Joe Hart. Not two minutes later, Man City took the lead right back on a goal as ugly as Swansea's was pretty.

Yaya Toure dribbled around somewhat aimlessly, trying to find a lane to strike through and, thinking he finally found it, he took his shot. He did not find a lane, but he did find his teammate's back, which sent humpback of a shot towards goal, fooling Lukasz Fabianski. The keeper couldn't adjust in time and watched as the ball sailed over his fingers for the game-winning goal.
