Roger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt Play Tennis on Speedboats

Roger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt play tennis on speed boats and finally look ordinary. Bonus: Federer plays Hewitt's kid.

Roger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt are in Sydney, Australia for a tournament with a new, faster format and while they were there they got themselves a couple of speedboats and tried to get a little volley going. It was not technically successful in terms of championship-level tennis, but it was a good look at what it takes for professionals to look like ordinary weekend warriors on the courts. If at least one great white shark winds up with a mouthful of tennis balls, that's a win for swimmers, too.

Federer and Hewitt later played in that newly formatted tournament on Monday--it's called Fast4 and features matches that are best-of-three-sets and a max of four games per set--but before the match started, Federer played Hewitt's son Cruz.

He was a little long on that lob, but kid's got some pretty good form and looks good repping his dad's backwards cap.
