OBJ and Josh Norman Are Fighting Something Dirty and Dangerous

Shameful.

Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. may have been losing to the undefeated Panthers, but he wasn't going down without a fight. And a dirty-ass fight at that. In what has stopped being a football game, and has since become a lawless brawl, OBJ has resorted to punches, late hits, and—tastelessly, dangerously—spearing.

Admittedly, the Panthers cornerback Josh Norman has been playing a little out of hand in his coverage on OBJ (who knows what kinds of words have been exchanged?) but OBJ's response to a push by spearing Norman is just unforgivable. Take a closer look:

That's some CTE-causing kind of head-to-head spearing, which is quite frankly deplorable.

Earlier in the game, both OBJ and Norman were chopping it up, though on a much smaller scale.

Before this whole Norman-OBJ epic went down, OBJ was chopping it up with Cortland Finnegan, throwing what appears to be some open-hand punches to the face mask, and a late takedown. No flag was thrown on the play.

Sure, he dropped an easy pass earlier, but there's just no excuse for this kind of bullshit. Sad to see such talent fly off the handle.

UPDATE:

Yeah, this one turned out to be pretty exciting. Maybe some of the best football we've seen all season. The Giants came all the way back from a 28-point deficit—uncontested—to tie up the game after an insane series of drives. And guess who was behind the final Giants drive?

Yup, lil OBJayZ Aaaaaaaaand again, to leave 1'45" on the clock:

Well, I guess you could argue that it all started with a certain clubby-handed Jason Pierre-Paul:

What an adorable little block.

Buuuuut: leave it to Cam Newton to shatter some comeback dreams, as a late Panthers drive—which saw Newton find a first down by his lonesome—ended in a clock-killing field goal for the W. The Panthers go on undefeated, and the Giants' perfection-ruining reputation (between today and the Patriots game) has finally ended.
