Is Tiger Woods Back?!?

Tiger finished his round at seven under and vaulted back into the top ten of the Hero World Challenge.

Look, he's playing in something called the Hero World Challenge in Hawaii, but Tiger Woods is back!! OK, OK, that's totally premature but, man, he just finished up a -7 round of 65 today—no bogeys—vaulting himself into the Top 10 of the tournament after a +1 round yesterday that included two double-bogeys. Tiger was actually playing by himself this round because Justin Rose withdrew, and it seemed to suit him fairly well, at one point birdying four out of five holes.

The biggest shot of the day was the one you're watching above, from the 16th hole. It looked like he might blemish his scorecard with a bogey here, but he read it and hit it perfectly to save par. Then we got something we haven't seen in a long, long time. A Tiger fist pump:

Yes, it's a weird random tournament in December, but it sure would be fun if this is the start of The Return of Tiger. It's unlikely we're ever going to see the dominant Tiger of old, but at this point we'll take what we can get. Golf is simply more exciting when this guy is in the mix.
