Dortmund Score Goals On Either Side Of Half, Beat Arsenal 2-0

Dortmund beat Arsenal 2-0 with goals on either side of the half.

Dortmund scored at the very end of the first half and then once more at the very beginning of the second half in today's UEFA Champions League matchup against Arsenal. Ciro Immobile scored the first goal on a sprinting counter in the 45th minute off a great clearance from Kevin Großkreutz. Immobile took the ball from just before midfield and took off like a rocket for the goal. Arsenal defenders tried to catch up, but they were too late and Immobile was able to hit the far corner of the goal.

Dortmund then completed the halftime sandwich with a goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 48th minute. Aubameyang and Großkreutz, again, connected on a nice little one-two that also had Arsenal defenders futilely playing catch up. The last ditch save attempt from Laurent Koscielny added injury to insult as he slammed off the post in heap.
