Blue Jays Ballboy Goes Full Kevin Pillar Mode with Slick Leaping Grab

He's been inspired by Toronto's defensive wizard in center field.

Center fielder Kevin Pillar wasn't the only one reaching into outer space to grab baseballs on Sunday.

After Ben Gamel lined a 3-2 ball toward the left-field seats, this Blue Jays ballboy loaded up and hopped (probably) higher than any ball dude has hopped before, robbing Gamel of, well, nothing—but it looked pretty dope.

We'll cut him some slack on not delivering the ball to a mom on Mother's Day, as he did hand it to a child, at least.

Ballboys are making their marks over the past week with leaping, latter-climbing grabs, as this play comes just a few days after a Tampa Bay Rays ballboy known only as "Bobby" snagged a Salvador Perez hot shot right in front of the Royals' bullpen last Thursday.

The Blue Jays, who have now won five straight after getting off to the their worst start in franchise history, completed a four-game sweep of the Seattle Mariners on Sunday, thanks in no part to this catch.
