Alex Gordon Hits Home Run, Clowns Third Base Coach With the Ol' Slick-Back-Hair Fake Handshake

Alex Gordon hit a home run and totally clowned the third base coach with the fake handshake/fix your hair move. Classic.

Alex Gordon hit his seventh home run of the season in the first inning in Minnesota tonight and that is merely the set up to the story. As Gordon rounded the bases, he sauntered into third base and went for the customary handshake/high five/fist bump with the third base coach Mike Jirschele. But at the last minute, he absolutely clowned him.

Gordon suckered him in by offering his hand and then quickly pulled it away and fixed his hair which, in this case, was the side of his helmet. A minor and negligible detail because this is a great move that goes back to grammar school when all the bad boys in class pulled it on you and all you could do was go home and fake out your little brother. Ah, the good old days.

Many thanks to @BWhetherJohnson for pointing this out because it is tremendous. We need much, much more player-coach clownings, please. Spread the word.
