Little Kid With Prosthetic Hand Throws Out First Pitch

Five-year-old Jack Carder, born without fingers, gets a badass Iron Man themed prosthetic hand at a minor league baseball game.

No matter how old you are, I'm willing to bet a little piece of you wishes you were part Iron Man, because Iron Man is dope. For five-year-old Jack Carder, this fantasy is now a reality, thanks to smart physics students at Siena College and their nonprofit organization, e-NABLE. Jack was born without fingers—only a thumb—but thanks to e-NABLE's 3D printing technology, Jack now has a badass Iron Man themed prosthetic hand and gets to show it off throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at his hometown's minor league baseball game. This little baseball enthusiast can now grip a ball, a bat, and give a real high five, all while looking like a kick-ass cyborg super hero.
