This weekend we watched Steph Curry work his magic and nearly kill his coach. We also saw Michigan State work their… magic, I guess, and almost kill their coach. When he's not playing so that his coach can barely watch, Steph Curry is playing so well he doesn't need to watch. Here he is hooking up Harrison Barnes with a sick pass from under the rim and going back up court without watch Barnes sink the three.

A Perfectly Timed Put-Back Dunk

Indiana's Hanner Mosquera-Perea followed this play from the defensive zone and anticipated the rebound just about perfectly for a vicious put-back dunk. Indiana would go on to lose to Michigan State (see below) but the important thing is that college basketball is heating up and soon all of these games will have stakes higher than "Beat Dook," or some such.

Tom Izzo Barely Survives his Own Team

A massive brain fart and just regular old bad luck nearly did in Michigan State and Tom Izzo against Indiana. First an inexplicable foul with a two-point lead and two seconds to go forced Izzo to use every muscle in his arms and hands to keep his brain from exploding. Indiana missed one of the free throws, so crisis averted. Until Marvin Clark, Jr. hit a free throw he was trying to miss, giving Indiana one last chance to win it. Izzo almost fainted.
