Soccer is just about the only context in which you might hear someone call a 20-something an "old man." But here we are, staring down a 29-year-old Sergio Ramos, and we dare say he might be getting a little long in the tooth.

After going up for a high-risk bicycle kick, the man landed on his shoulder and came up looking, well, kind of like a hurt person. There certainly wasn't the elastic spring that you see from Ramos's younger counterparts. Granted, it was a fairly awkward angle, and the body is very complicated. But, dreadfully, you never know when the mileage on an athlete's body might surpass its blue book value.

But as long as the "old man" is willing and able to go up for a nasty bicycle kick, we're happy to watch. You never want to see anyone get hurt, but let's just hope this one incident doesn't make him too timid about it in the future. Because that was a pretty goal.
