Notts County scored a great goal on a trick free kick in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal on Thursday. Ellen White was the beneficiary of some diversionary tactics from her teammates Laura Bassett and Alex Greenwood, who pretended to get into a fight just as Bassett appeared to start her kick. Greenwood moved off her spot and as the fake argument began, she touched the ball to her left, allowing White to split off and curl a shot in for a goal.White later said they've worked on the set piece many times and she was just happy to pull it off because she had plenty of misfires in practice.
