A Puking Football Player, Trolling The Goalie, And The GIFS You Missed

Did you miss anything from the weekend in sports? Come on in, see a football player puke on a football, and get yourself caught up.

This weekend you missed a football player puking on a football, snapping the puke-y football to the quarterback, who then threw the puke-y ball to a wide receiver. He did not catch it. How bad do you feel for missing that? You should feel really bad about it, but also so very thankful that we are here to show it to you in all its perpetual, disgusting glory.

Johnny Manziel Would've Fuckin' Hit Josh Gordon

This is good. FOX cameras were trained on Johnny Manziel after Brian Hoyer missed Josh Gordon deep during a close game with the Colts and Manziel's competitive juices were flowing, even in the cold. Don't let whatever stupid debate comes from this prevent you from appreciating that this guy is sitting on the bench dying to be out there trying to help his team win, and shaking his head in frustration when he thinks he could do better. That's exactly what he should think.

Blake Sims Takes Vicious Hit on TD Pass

Sims threw the touchdown, but by hanging in there long enough to make the play, he paid a price and this nasty hit was it. Shane Ray also paid a price, though, as he was ejected for targeting.

Refs, They're Just Like Players!

Who doesn't like to celebrate a job well done? These two refs are no different than you, or I, or the players they penalize for excessive celebrations. They worked together to call this touchdown and congratulated each other with a fist bump.

TCU Trick Play Works to Perfection

TCU scored a touchdown with a little redirection play that saw nearly the entire Iowa State defense bite on a lateral pass that left QB Trevone Boykin all alone on the other side of the field with a convoy of blockers to escort him to the end zone.

And These Are The New York Jets

This touchdown, scored by the Vikings on an interception return off the first play of the game, was the difference in the game. A casual observer of the Jets would assume that this play would be just the first in a series of gaffes that would result in a bloodbath, but the die hards know better. The Jets don't operate like that, they suck the life out of you by keeping you around just long enough to break your heart at the last minute. This game went to overtime, and the Jets lost on a play that should have been stopped for a loss, but…wasn't.

Trolling the Goalie

I could watch this forever, it is a Desert Island GIF.

Game-changing Punt Return Never Should Have Happened

Oklahoma State forced overtime, and ultimately won thanks to this punt return. This was Oklahoma's second attempt at punting on fourth down because State was penalized for running into the kicker on the previous attempt. Whereas the first punt resulted in a fair catch at the OSU 15, this was a touchdown.

Aston Villa Score on Pretty Header

A great ball in, and an equally impressive sliding-header adjustment result in a wonderful goal.
