Amar'e Stoudemire Offers Ref His Glasses So He Can See Better

Amar'e Stoudemire went with a classic ref burn in a recent Israeli Premier League game.

Former NBA All-Star Amar'e Stoudemire is well known for his love of basketball, goggles, and Judaism, and those three magical ingredients came together recently during an Israeli Premier League game, as Stoudemire offered his goggles to a ref, presumably to help him see better.

There isn't much context to the video, but it doesn't take a basketball expert to surmise that the ref made (or missed) a call that Stoudemire didn't appreciate.

Stoudemire currently plays for Hapoel Jerusalem. He held an ownership stake in the team from 2013 until earlier this year, when he sold his shares as part of a two-year deal to play there. Clearly, this is a big deal to the guy. If only the darn ref could see that*.

*Pun definitely intended
