Daniel Sturridge Sculpts a Beauty of a Goal in First Half of Europa League Final

Daniel Sturridge scored a wonder goal with the outside of his foot in the Europa League Final.

Liverpool lead Sevilla 1-0 after one half in the Europa League Final and it came off the outside of Daniel Sturridge's left foot. Coutinho got the ball to Sturridge near the corner of the penalty area and for some reason, three Sevilla defenders just looked on as he took a few steps, flicked the ball to the far post, and watched as it curled in. Keeper David Soria made a game effort at stopping it, but he never had a chance. The goal caught everyone by surprise—even the play-by-play man took a second to realize that he was actually narrating an unbelievable goal.

Liverpool have been all over Sevilla in this first half and could have added a couple more goals in the ten minutes between Sturridge's and half time. Sturridge himself negated a second, when he made a play for a would-be goal from an offside position. I'm sure the Liverpool faithful don't mind too much, though.
