Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 15th of October, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still, technically, president of FIFA.

FIFA continues to clean house. Lindile Kika, a South African official, has been banned for six years for allegedly helping to fix some friendly matches before the 2010 World Cup.

UEFA leaders are meeting in Switzerland. According to the AP, they're "demanding answers" to the bribe scandal surrounding UEFA president Michel Platini, who was given a mysterious payment of roughly $2 million by FIFA.

Robert Lewandowski's amazing 5 goals in nine minutes against Wolfsburg last month is an official record. The Pole will have a spot in the Guinness book. (Link in German)

St. Pauli is in a bit of hot water after signing a kit deal with Under Armor, which has close ties to the U.S. military. That type of partnership doesn't square with St. Pauli's famously left-wing politics. (Link in German)

St. Pauli's complicated attempt to balance its image against its bank account is actually a pretty interesting story, as this documentary shows.

In other weird soccer/fashion news, Manchester United has signed a deal with baseball hat company New Era.

It's not transfer season, but that's never stopped Real Madrid. The club has reportedly offered Arsenal 37.3 million pounds PLUS Denis Cheryshev for Alexi Sanchez, who is in the form of his life. In his last 5 matches, Sanchez has scored 9 goals. Much to the relief of my colleague Aaron Gordon, Sanchez says he's happy at Arsenal… for now.

Sebastian Giovinco continues to make his case for being the best player to ever play in MLS. Barcelona is supposedly interested in signing the Italian, who just helped Italy qualify for the European Championship. I would normally laugh at such transfer rumors, but…
