About a week ago, Barry Bonds got sick and through a series of events we are still trying to figure out and piece together, uploaded this video to Instagram. Bonds, laying in bed wearing a hoodie, filmed the following message: "Unfortunately I caught this bug [cough] that everyone's got so [cough] Ill be out of commission for a few days [sniff] but Ill be back, thanks for the support."This is a tremendous use of social media. If Barry Bonds ever gets marooned on a desert island, or lost in space, we can only hope he has his phone and unlimited battery power. "Unfortunately my rocket propulsion system has failed, so my weightless body ebbs through the eternity of space, but I'll be back. Thanks for the support.
