VICE Sports World News Roundup: August 14

Start your day with VICE Sports. Here's our morning roundup of the sports news from around the world.

Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 14th of August, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA.

The Wall Street Journal has details about FIFA's new internal investigation. It sounds good and far reaching but I won't believe anything until there are actual results.

Chelsea's Jose Mourinho—addressing the media today for the first time since Sunday—faced some tough questions about his treatment of team doctor Eva Carneiro, who was demoted after Mourinho essentially blamed her for Chelsea's draw against Swansea. Carneiro entered the field of play late in the match when it appeared Eden Hazard had been injured. As a result, Hazard, who Mourinho said was only tired, had to come out of the game during a critical point in the match. It's hard to find anyone on Mourinho's side on this one, but he didn't take the opportunity to apologize. He said it was his decision to pick which personnel sit on the bench and confirmed that Carneiro will not be there next time the team plays.

Bayern Munich will clamp down on incidents of "wild pissing" around the stadium on match days. Apparently not enough young men are finding their way to the bathroom, and Bayern has had enough. "Wild pissing is no trivial offense," Bayern's media director told BILD. (Link in German). "There are women in the stadium; there are kids in the stadium. So that's why we're against these people, who are typically men." Wild pissers could lose their game day tickets or face longer stadium bans.

The Bundesliga begins today, with Bayern set to dismantle hapless farce-club Hamburg SV. FOX will broadcast the game live on YouTube in the U.S.

Day one of the US PGA Championship is in the books. Rory McIlroy looked strong, and said he had "confidence" in his recently-injured left ankle.

The ATP issued Nick Kyrgios "Notice of Investigation" and fined him $10,000 after his remarks about Stan Wawrinka's girlfriend's sexual history.

England continues to dominate at the Netball World Cup. The team is coached by Tracey Neville, Phil and Gary Neville's sister.

Rafael Nadal went full Nadal yesterday at the Rogers Cup. He beat Mikhail Youzhny in straight sets.
