Amazing Sammy Watkins Catch Sets Up Bills Win

The Buffalo Bills and Kyle freaking Orton came back to beat the Lions on a last-second field goal that was set up by this juggling catch from rookie Sammy Watkins.

The Bills came back to beat the Lions today on a 58-yard field goal from Dan Carpenter. The three pointer from way downtown was set up by this spectacular catch from Sammy Watkins. With the scored tied at 14-14 and 26 seconds to go, Kyle Orton threw it behind Watkins as he crossed over the middle of the field. Watkins was able to reach back, get his fingers on it and tip it to himself as he continued running. He juggled it a bit more but hung on for the catch, finally going down at around the 40-yard line with 20 seconds left in the game.

The Bills ran one more play for no gain before bringing out Carpenter to bang it in with nine seconds to go. The Lions, who missed a 50-yarder of their own to set up the Watkins catch, had time for one play after the kickoff, but fumbled it and Buffalo recovered to seal the 17-14 win.
