One of EVO's best stories was how Victor "Punk" Woodley, a young American SFV player with Panda Global, made an unlikely run all the way to the Grand Final where he lost in heartbreaking fashion to Hajime "Tokido" Taniguchi, a ruthless veteran who even scares the shit out of people like Justin Wong.Punk took the defeat pretty hard, which is understandable even if it's unwarranted considering how brilliantly he played throughout the tournament. Enter Kenny Omega, a wrestler with New Japan and a pretty serious fighting game fan. To help Punk get over his EVO loss, Omega got wrestling legend CM Punk to record a pep talk.
It's a sweet gesture and a cute video, but the real star is Punk's weird bat-dog, who spends the whole video being cradled like a baby while his lower jaw looks like it's about to push through your screen.
