Cardinals Take Late Lead over Packers on a Crazy-Ass Deflection

Holy crap.

Two games, two crazy deflections on huge plays. Carson Palmer has had a bit of a rough game, throwing ugly interceptions, or ugly passes that should have been interceptions, but they haven't burned the Cardinals. This was another one of those throws, and oh man, did he have some incredible luck on this one.

Trailing 13-10, Palmer and the Cardinals put together a seven-minute drive that saw a couple skin-of-their-teeth plays just to keep the drive alive, including a remarkable David Johnson catch and stumble for a first down the previous play. After getting the first down at the nine-yard line, Palmer appeared to be looking for Larry Ftizgerald, but it hit off Damarious Randall's arm and went right to Michael Floyd for an easy touchdown catch that could very well bounce the Packers from the playoffs.

The Packers must be feeling murderous right now because for the second consecutive year their season will likely end on an improbable comeback in the waning minutes. Good grief.

Green Bay still has a chance, obviously. After kicking a field goal, Arizona leads 20-13, but they threw incomplete to Fitzgerald on the last drive, giving Green Bay an extra 40 seconds almost. Plus, Aaron Rodgers can pull shit out of his ass, too.
