Well, winter is here dammit. Thank God this is in Iowa because I'm not ready for any kind of pre-December snow in the habitable parts of the country. Just kidding, Iowa. I'm sure you're lovely, but 28 degrees and 10 inches of snow in November ain't cool.So please, let the rest of us enjoy the pretty leaves for a little while longer and hopefully we can get through Thanksgiving before we have anything to shovel (or bulldoze, as the case may be). But this is good, because there is nothing quite like watching a cold-weather football game being played somewhere far away from you and the cozy comfort of your living room. Purdue and Iowa kickoff at noon today, so if you've got a fireplace, light it up. If you made a hearty stew, go for seconds and enjoy other people freezing their asses off for your enjoyment.
