Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert caught Carlos Boozer napping on this inbound play and hooked up for a pretty alley-oop at his expense. Shumpert was milling around the three point line on the near side of the court, almost hiding in plain sight, and then as soon as the ref handed Irving the ball, he broke for the rim and caught the pass over Boozer, who looked like he was just trying to catch a bad pass to no one.

If we were looking ahead to today's schedule before the season started, this was a pretty exciting day of basketball: Thunders-Clippers followed by Lakers-Cavs. But we're hear now and the Thunder housed the Clippers, who announced today that Blake Griffin would be out indefinitely for elbow surgery to remove a staph infection, and the Lakers starting five was taken directly from a trash can and spray-painted purple.
