VICE Sports World News Roundup: August 13

Start your day with VICE Sports. Here's our morning roundup of the sports news from around the world.

Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 13th of August, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA.

Chelsea's "Doctor Gate" continues to gather steam. I wrote yesterday that Jose Mourinho's apparent demotion of team doctor Eva Carneiro was strange and carried "more than a whiff of sexism." Well, that whiff has grown stronger.

This is sexism, full stop. And these appear to be Jose's preferred leaks. Not good. http://t.co/WfByS240Zt pic.twitter.com/spIbiMq7a8

If you're just coming to this now, here's the Cliffsnotes backstory: Mourinho became enraged when Carneiro entered the field to treat Eden Hazard, who'd gone to ground and appeared injured, at the end of Sunday's 2-2 draw with Swansea. Mourinho said the player was just tired, and Carneiro should have known better, calling her "ignorant" of the rules. By rule, Hazard had to come off as soon as Carneiro entered the field; Mourinho believes Hazard's absence may have prevented Chelsea from winning. The problem with this narrative is that Carneiro entered the field after being waved on by the referee. Here's what the rules say about that:

So who's ignorant of the rules?

Costa Rican head coach Paulo Wanchope resigned on Wednesday after video of him fighting a security guard at a U23 match went viral this week.

During match play in the Rogers Cup, Australian tennis bad boy Nick Kyrgios told Stan Wawrinka that Thanasi Kokkinakis, another tennis player, "banged" his girlfriend. Just a little banter!

The U.S. PGA Championship tees off today. Will Rory McIlroy successfully defend his title? Stay tuned!

ESPN published its yearly, interactive look at Premier League kit deals. It's pretty cool. They should use art like this more often.

Kick It Out, the activist group fighting for equality in soccer, launched a new app for reporting racist incidents.

And now for something nightmare-inducing:
