It's a tricky thing, videotaping kids who are clearly upset, because on the one hand, it's pretty messed up. On the other hand, well, it's still messed up, but sometimes it can be funny. This video goes from kinda messed up, to laugh-out-loud funny as soon as the kid sees Michael Bennett riding a bicycle. "And lookit, now they've got a bicycle." His mom (who explains why she is laughing) even tries to reason with him by reminding him there's always next year, but the kid is right. It is gonna take a long time. Not only is it going to take a long time, but you have to watch the assholes who knocked you out play in the Super Bowl, then suffer through February--the worst month ever invented--March, which aside from the Tournament isn't any better, and then April's here. Maybe you'll get a little jazzed about baseball, and the NBA and NHL playoffs are a fleeting distraction, but then comes summer and you find yourself checking to see when training camp starts.
