West Virginia Beats TCU in Overtime, TCU Coach is Pissed

West Virginia won in overtime after a wild final few seconds that saw a little bit of everything, even an incensed head coach.

West Virginia came back to beat TCU in overtime after a crazy last 15 seconds that featured a go-ahead three for West Virginia, followed by a go-ahead jumper from TCU, and a full-court outlet pass with less than two seconds left that should have netted the game-winning bucket at the buzzer. West Virginia missed that layup, but got an awfully nice whistle and foul call on the play, awarding Jevon Carton two free throws to win the game. Carter nailed both and TCU's half-court heave was no good, giving West Virginia an 86-85 win at home.

TCU head coach Trent Johnson was on fire when the foul was initially called and later had to be restrained by another coach as the buzzer sounded because he was going after one of the referees. Bob Huggins, meanwhile, was left looking around for someone to shake hands with.
