Huge Brawl Erupts in Spanish Basketball, One Player Apologizes to Small Child with a Kiss

A huge brawl broke out in Spain's Liga ACB with multiple punches thrown, several ejections, and one apologetic kiss.

So much fighting in basketball recently! Here we have Bilbao Basket and Laboral Kutxa Baskonia from Spain's Liga ACB getting into some legit fisticuffs in the late stages of their game. Bilbao's Dejan Todorovic was driving to the rim in the open court and you can pretty clearly hear the referee blowing his whistle. Todorovic travelled, but continued to the rim and Baskonia's Tornike Shengelia followed him and tried to swat the ball away. Todorovic didn't appreciate it so he shoved him, and then Shengelia took a swing, igniting a huge brawl that went into the courtside seats.

Multiple punches were thrown and multiple men in suits tried to pry apart the sweaty dudes in athletic gear that were forming a mosh pit amongst fans. Eventually, the fight subsided and Shengelia—along with every player from both teams' benches—was ejected from the game. He did make up for it a bit, though, when he stopped on his way out to apologize to a small child who was clearly terrified by the whole thing.

Bilbao beat Baskonia 93-75.
