Chip Kelly-Less DeMarco Murray Slices Through Giants Defensive Line for 54-Yard TD

Would Kelly have called that play? Hard to tell.

The first two minutes this season without Chip Kelly as head coach smelled like freedom for the Eagles, as DeMarco Murray absolutely ripped through the Giants defensive line for a 54-yard touchdown.

At first, it seems like Murray cuts straight through the center of the Giants defense, but from this second angle, it's apparent that the Eagles managed to shift the whole Giants defensive line due East, leaving a gigantic hole for Murray to run through. Take a look:

A fine play—Murray is making it look a running drill out there. Can we expect some kind of miracle comeback for the Eagles for a late playoff push? Hahahaha—absolutely not. But this might bode well for next season. Because that's all the Eagles can think about at this point.

UPDATE:

There seems to be some more Kelly-less magic in the air, as former Giant Walter Thurmond III picks off a wonky pass from Eli Manning for a disgustingly fast 83-yard pick six.

The wonkiness of the pass owes thanks to Connor Barwin, who got a piece of that ball before it flaccidly fell upward out of Manning's hands. A helluva play all around.
