We're Holding a Wrestling Match For Our New Film

And we've got a load of guestlist spots to give away.

I'm gonna go right ahead and assume you've already watched The British Wrestler, our amazing new documentary about the raucous, tea-bagging sweatfest that is the UK wrestling scene. Among other things, the film tells the story of Grado, a wrestling enthusiast from Ayrshire, Scotland whose dream is to stand in a ring in a community centre and have his head bashed in by men in lycra shorts. We follow him from bedroom aspirations all the way up to fight-night, the biggest night of his life. It's heart-warming stuff.

Next Wednesday 17th, we're having a party-cum-wrestling-match at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club to celebrate the film's release. Grado, our star, will be fighting Rob Cage, followed by a no-holds-barred hardcore match between Jack Jester and Jimmy Havoc. If you're into watching men spilling blood and beating the living shit out of each other with razor wire, you're going to love it.

Besides all that, there'll also be music from VICE/Noisey DJs and free drinks all night. You should be salivating at the thought of coming by now, and all you have to do to be in with a chance of getting a spot on the guestlist is fill in the boxes below. It's that bloody easy.

Watch the full-length film here and read an interview with director Rhys James here.
