Devin Hester has been all over the field tonight and is probably making his former coach Lovie Smith sick to his stomach at this point. After a 20-yard end-around, Hester piled onto the absurd lead with a 62-yard punt return that put the Falcons up 35-0 with 7:05 left in the second quarter.
Coming into the game Hester and Deion Sanders were tied with 19 career returns for touchdowns, a league record. Hester now owns that record alone, and apparently knew it judging by his primetime-esque entrance into the end zone. Because the NFL is humorless, the Falcons were assessed a 15-yard penalty for taunting on the play. It was enforced on the kickoff, like it matters at this point.[CBS]
