Jack Nicklaus Predicted His Hole-in-One In Masters Par 3 Contest

Jack Nicklaus hit a hole-in-one at the Masters Par 3 Contest alongside Gary Player and Ben Crenshaw.

Masters Week is here and while the tournament gets underway for real tomorrow, the Par 3 Contest featuring old and new stars was today. Jack Nicklaus, playing with Gary Player and Ben Crenshaw, hit a hole-in-one on the fourth hole and gave the crowd a great moment to take home from Augusta. The fans loved it, to be sure, but I think Andy North and Mike Tirico enjoyed it more than anyone. North yelps with glee when it finally goes in.

Earlier in the day, Nicklaus sat down with Scott Van Pelt to chat all things The Masters and actually predicted his hole in one. He was joking around about trying to get back in the tournament and wondered if maybe a win in the Par 3 Contest would help him do it. Failing that, he said maybe a hole-in-one would do the trick.

Nicklaus, who's won 18 majors including the Masters six times, is 75 years old and still killing it.
