Romelu Lukaku is having himself a nice little Saturday today at St. Mary's. It started off a bit ugly for the Everton striker, but he quickly made amends. Before the match against Southampton actually started, Lukaku was off-target in warm ups and drilled a fan sitting behind the goal. He noticed immediately and hopped the fence to check on the woman. When he got up to her seat he gave her a big hug.

Once the match actually started, Lukaku went to work and opened scoring in the 22nd minute with a lovely header on a perfect counter attack. Southampton had a corner kick, but it was deflected away from danger and Everton quickly turned the ball up field to Arouna Kone, who had a couple of options down by the goal, but decided on Lukaku streaking for the far-side post. Lukaku then scored again just before the half to put Everton up 2-0. He won the ball at midfield and raced to catch up with the rest of his team as they pushed forward. He continued running down the middle of the field where Ross Barkley slipped a pass to him just at the edge of the box and Lukaku finished with a quick strike.WATCH: Romelu Lukaku's header gives #efc 1-0 lead over #SaintsFC #ForeverFaster http://t.co/jazBz2NpYH
