Down Goes Spain, Down Goes Spain, Down Goes Spain

A stunner in Rio. After two ugly losses, Spain will take their ball and aimlessly wander home.

Wow, just … wow.

Presumably inspired by a sea of energized fans who stormed the castle as things got underway in Rio, Chile has stunningly eliminated Spain from the World Cup. And Spain went quietly, losing 2-0, following an embarrassing 5-1 annihilation at the hands of the Netherlands last Friday.

With the stunner of a win, it's widely assumed that Chile fans be taking the victory in respectable stride.

We'll have much more on this loss later from our man Brian, who is stationed in Brazil.

In the mean time, many of you will likely be asking yourselves just what the hell happened to Spain. You know exactly what happened to Spain…

Oh, and feel free to supply us with the worst Chile-related pun you stumble upon. There will be many.
