Jahlil Okafor Does Not Gently Place New Sixers Uniform on Table, is a Monster

Jahlil Okafor made people a little crazy with the way he handled his new Sixers uniform at his introductory press conference.

Are you kidding me with this, Jahlil? Are you kidding me? You just carelessly drop your brand new jersey on the table from, like, a foot in the air? Are. You. Kidding. Me? Let me break this down for you, real simple like. That right there is a Philadelphia 76ers official jersey. Official! Jersey! From the N-B-A. Do you know how serious that is? I'll tell you how serious it is: IT'S REAL SERIOUS.

Oh so you thought you were going to the Lakers but wound up in Philly. So…what? That means you can just not delicately fold and place your brand new Philadelphia 76ers jersey and place it on some nice tissue paper inside a decorative-yet-also-protective box??? Let me ask you something: who do you think you are?

This is Philadelphia. You think Thomas Jefferson just threw the Declaration of Independence on a table and said "Here's your fucking Revolution, jabronis" to the rest of the scrubs on the Continental Congress roster? Of course not. He put that thing in a hermetically sealed container impervious to humidity, ultraviolet rays, and the Dallas Cowboys so that one day it could be displayed in our National Archives and later stolen by Nicolas Cage before real criminals could get their hands on it, thus providing a two-and-a-half hour roller coaster ride of entertainment.

It's just common courtesy and respect.
