VICE Sports World News Roundup: August 26

Start your day with VICE Sports. Here's our morning roundup of the sports news from around the world.

Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 26th of August, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA.

The IAAF World Championships in Beijing are just full of storylines. I missed this one yesterday: Molly Huddle, an American distance runner, missed out on 1000-meter bronze when she put her arms up to celebrate before crossing the finish line, which allowed an opponent to sneak past her.

Mario Balotelli transferred from Liverpool back to Milan. He was rumored to have some kind of behavior clause in his contract, the details of which are now emerging. According to the Guardian, the clause "[bans] extravagant haircuts and clothing and [commits] him to a healthy lifestyle." It's apparently based on the Italian air force's behavior clause. Good luck, Mario!

Tributes continue to pour in for Justin Wilson, who died from injuries suffered in an IndyCar crash over the weekend. If there's a silver lining, it's this: Justin's brother Stefan said his brother's donated organs saved the lives of six people.

Wilson's injury might have a lasting impact on motorsports. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) may finally introduce closed cockpits into Indycar, F1 and other open-cockpit circuits.

Qatar is setting up its own court for sports arbitration. According to the official release: "The court will provide services in order to resolve legal disputes in the field of sport through arbitration and mediation in accordance to the rules and regulations of FIFA and other internationally recognized bodies."

One of the best cricketers of all time, Kumar Sangakkara, is set to retire. His dad wrote a column for the Indian Express, where he says his son was not "a natural talent" and other extremely critical things about how Kumar wasn't really all that good. .

Yesterday we brought you a funny story about the men's hammer throw gold medalist misplacing his medal. The women were in action today. Here's Hungary's Reka Gyuratz doing her thing.
