Manning and Broncos March 80 Yards to Tie Seahawks in Final Seconds, Lose in Overtime

Broncos tied it up and now we head to overtime.

Down 17-12 to the Seahawks with 2:25 left in the fourth quarter, Peyton Manning threw a backbreaker of an interception. The game wasn't technically over, but it felt over. Seattle took possession and killed some clock, eventually settling for a field goal to go up eight. The Broncos took over on their own 20 with 59 seconds left and scored on a 26-yard pass to Jacob Tamme with 24 seconds left. It wouldn't matter in the end, as the Seahawks won it on the first possession in overtime.

Peyton used three big plays, including the Tamme touchdown, to get them downfield so quickly. Emmanuel Sanders hauled in the first one for 42 yards, then Demaryius Thomas converted a third-and-10 play for 12 yards, and got out of bounds to stop the clock. Then Peyton found Tamme. Thomas also converted the two-point conversion with a great catch in the back of the end zone. Replay confirmed he got both feet in and we head to overtime.

Seattle took the ball in overtime and returned the Broncos favor, driving the length of the field and scoring a touchdown on a soaring Marshawn Lynch run.
