Snoop Dogg Is a Fan of the CFL

But he doesn't seem to understand the rules.

So what does Snoop Dogg do (besides the obvious) when he's lounging in his hotel room? Watch the CFL, of course.

The rapper posted a hilarious expletive-laden video on his Instagram of him watching a recent Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats game. Snoop was definitely into the contest, even if he didn't understand what the hell was going on.

The CFL game is a tad different from the NFL, and the scoring can get a bit confusing sometimes for those who don't know the rules. Confused is exactly what Snoop was when he turned on the game to discover a score of 4-0.

Now, although it would be rare, that score is possible in the NFL, as well. Two safeties could give a team four points. But in this case, it was a field goal and a CFL special—a single point, also known as a rouge—that put Montreal up 4-0. There are a few ways a rouge can be awarded, and in this instance the Alouettes received the single point when kicker Boris Bede missed a 43-yard kick but cleared the back of the end zone to put Montreal up 4-0, a score that utterly baffled Snoop.

"Can you believe this shit? The score is 4-0," he said.

Snoop, apparently unfamiliar with NFL rules, too, offers up some other great commentary when he says, "A challenge flag? What the fuck? Man, please."

This isn't the first time Snoop has thrown his support behind the CFL. He's rocked Saskatchewan Roughriders gear at a concert before, and has taken pics with CFL legend Anthony Calvillo, who is the all-time league leader in passing yards and touchdowns.

If Snoop is serious about trying out for a CFL team, as he mentions in the video, he totally has our support.
