Ellen White was the beneficiary of some diversionary tactics from her team-mates Laura Bassett and Alex Greenwood, who pretended to get into a fight just as Bassett was about to strike the ball. Greenwood then moved off her spot and, as the 'argument' began, touched the ball to her left, allowing White to split off and curl a shot into the bottom right.White later said they've worked on the set piece many times and she was just happy to pull it off, having had plenty of misfires in practice.
