City Win Manchester Derby Over United On Sergio Aguero's Blast

Sergio Aguero puts Manchester City up 1-0 in the Manchester Derby on a great set of touches cutting through United's defense.

Sergio Aguero scored his tenth Premier League goal of the season and finally opened up the scoring in the Manchester Derby, giving Man City a 1-0 lead over Manchester United in the 63rd minute. It was a lovely tic-tac-toe set of touches from Yaya Toure, to Gaël Clichy, and finally on to Aguero for the emphatic finish. It was all the scoring necessary for City and they hung on to win the Derby, 1-0.

Aguero was denied a penalty just moments earlier and made good when given another chance. Manchester United had been playing a man down since Chris Smelling was shown two yellow cards in the first half, the final on a silly challenge on Aguero, and was sent off in the 39th minute.
