Keith Hernandez on Hot Mic: "Roark's Been Getting His Tits Lit"

During SNY's broadcast of the Mets opening game of a series in Los Angeles against the Dodgers, Gary Cohen and Keith Hernandez had a minor snafu where they were caught having a private conversation on air. Cohen and Hernandez were discussing games around the league and one in particular caught their eyes: the Washington Nationals and Miami Marlins.

Washington had jumped out to an early 6-0 lead after three, but starting pitcher Tanner Roark coughed it all back up in the bottom half of the third. He was promptly pulled, making it the shortest start of his career. When Cohen brought it up, Keith, colorful as ever, noted that "Roark's been getting his tits lit" of late.

It's testament to the relationship between the two that Cohen casually agrees with him like it's not the weirdest or funniest phrase he's ever heard. The camera shot of the lifeguard house adds a certain Baywatch-iness to the whole thing that is insanely fitting.

If you can believe it, New York starter Zack Wheeler had an even rougher night than Roark, giving up seven earned runs in only two innings.

The Mets got their tits lit by the Dodgers, 10-6.
