Curt Schilling Blazes 95 MPH Fastball Past Line of Human Decency

This tweet is terrible even by Curt Schilling standards.

Failed video game entrepreneur Curt Schilling is wont to spew repugnant shit on social media but, sadly, he sunk to new depths this morning with this now-deleted tweet:

For fuck's sake, Curt.

This is hardly the first time he's endorsed something obscene about Muslims. It also bears noting that for a guy shitting on the Nazis, he sure happens to own a lot of Nazi paraphernaliaincluding these military uniforms ostensibly worn by some of the most odious figures in the Third Reich. Curt isn't always terrible on social media—there was this heart-warming defense of his daughter in the face of cyber bullying—but the bad often overshadows the good, and this is pretty, pretty bad.

We've reached out to ESPN for comment, and were told that they are looking into the matter. We'll update this post if we receive any updates.

For now, try to cheer yourself up with the best tweets to come out of this disaster.

2:31 PM ET -- UPDATE: ESPN has issued the following statement: "Curt's tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company's perspective. We made that point very strongly to Curt and have removed him from his current Little League assignment pending further consideration.

3:57 PM ET -- UPDATE: Schilling has tweeted an apology:

I understand and accept my suspension. 100% my fault. Bad choices have bad consequences and this was a bad decision in every way on my part.
