On Sunday, many Liverpool (and other) greats got together to play an All-Star charity match at Anfield. Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher were opposing captains of squads that included Mario Balotelli, Luis Suarez, Didier Drogba, and Thierry Henry. The two sides played to a 2-2 draw, but Gerrard's club missed a golden opportunity for a goal with this absurd trick pass from Henry. The former Arsenal man wound up like he was going to take a shot on goal, but before following through, he pushed the ball to Ryan Babel with his left foot. Unfortunately, Babel sent his strike wide left and now we'll never have the satisfaction of a truly amazing assist on a charity match goal. This is something Henry has done before, but I still had to watch it several times before figuring out what actually happened. Even the keeper was impressed.
